Our Member Mr. Rayee Rajkumar,Moodbidri has inaugurated the Philately Club at Poornachandra Public School, Kuvempunagar, Channarayapatna, Hassan District in the month of August 2014 An Exhibition and Workshop was conducted by him at the venue. Principal Baikady Janardhan Achar, Vice Principal Dhanalaxmi, Headmistress Savithri, Co-ordinator-teacher Madhura were also present.

Republic Day - 2015 Stamp Design Competetion.

Department of Posts is holding a “Republic Day 2015 – Stamp Design Competition”. The theme of the competition is Clean India.

Regional Level Philately Exhibition at Mysore

 This is regarding the Regional Level Philately Exhibition that is scheduled to be held at Postal Training Centre, Nazarbad, Mysore-570010 from 24th to 26th September-2014. The last date for submission of entries is extended to 20th September-2014. Entries are to be forwarded to Senior Superintendent of Post Offices, Mysore Division, Mysore-570020.

Gadagpex 2014

Gadagpex-2014 was held at Gadag on 9th and 10th August 2014. 2 special covers released on 9th August 2014, at the recently concluded Cluster Level Exhibition at Gadag consisting of 6 postal divisions of the Brahma Jainalaya, Lakkundi and Dodda Basappa Temple, Dambala.

Exhibition of Indian Currency Notes

An Exhibition of Indian Currency Notes was held on 10th August during the monthly meeting of our Association. Our member Mr.Richard Lobo exhibited his collection of British India and Republic India notes. There were various notes like the 1 rupee notes with the signatures of various Finance Secretaries, other notes with signatures of Governors and Birthday notes of eminent Personalities.

District level Exhibition in Madikeri

As per Official News a Circle level Exhibition KAVERIPEX will be held at Madikeri from 10th to 12th October 2014. It will include Kodagu, Mangalore, Udupi, Puttur and Tumkur Circles.
