Our monthly meeting for the month of September 2018 was held at Head Post Office on 09.09.2018. Mr.K.Sridhar spoke of the objectives on the one page exhibits and described the way the exhibit to be prepared.
Recently one page exhibit was conducted at Bangalore and Mr.Sridhar won the third prize for one of his exhibit on Greenhouse Gas and Carbon pricing.
One-page philatelic exhibit...
One-page
Philatelic exhibit is an innovative method to exhibit one's collection of
philatelic materials. The entries in
this shall be complete philatelic exhibits presented on one-page. The page size
is to be 8 1/2 inch x 11 inch or 210 mm x 297 mm.
The
content of a one-page exhibit is about a story entirely contained on
one-page. The story is the most
important aspect of a one-page exhibit.
And, the story can be related with stamps alone or with stamps, covers,
appropriate philatelic material and text or captions. The story can be in
several forms.
A
story relating to:
· * a
particular Philatelic Item or Items
·
* the
issue or use of a particular stamp
·
* to
Postal History or Postal Markings
·
* Philatelic
Research of some kind
·
* an
unusual or specific event
· * a
story which is Topical or Thematic
