Monthly meeting of the Manipal University Philatelic and Numismatics
club of the month of September 2016 was held at the Manipal College of
Nursing, Manipal on 17th September 2016. The meeting was presided over
by Dr Suma Nair, Director Student Affairs in the absence of the Vice
Chancellor and President of the Club. The gathering was welcomed by the
Secretary, Ms Steffi Jenifer Quadras.
About 36 members were present for the meeting. Mr. M K Krishnayya, Mr.
Prabhakar Kamath, Mr. Mansoor, Mr. Y.T Michael and Mr. K Sridhar members
from Dakshina Kannada Philatelic and Numismatics Association were also
present.
Mr. K Sridhar gave a talk on “Gutter Stamps”. He also cleared various doubts asked by the members. The meeting was concluded after the talk. A philatelic exhibition was organised by Mr. Vishwesh K and Mr. K Sridhar.
