St. Aloysius School Wins Medals at INPEX 2017

St. Aloysius School team participated in the National Level Philatelic Exhibition INPEX 2017 held at Mumbai from November 30th to December 4 and won several medals with guidance of their teacher and Nehru Philatelic Club In-charge Mrs. Sheryl Prabhu.

Dhai Akhar

A special cover on Dhai Akhar was released on 2nd October 2017 at Head Post Office by The Senior Suptd. of Post Offices. Mr. Prabhakar Kamath, Dr. G.G.Laxman Prabhu and Mr. Mansoor Bolar were the guests at this event.

Dhai Akhar refers to two and a half letters of the word prem in devanagari script which was the theme of all India letter writing competetion where in citizens and students were invited to write letters " Dear Bapu you inspire me....." The Competetion culminated n the release of special cover bearing both lines today.
